Biologically speaking, is there a difference between indiscriminate tree topping and carefully tipping back each limb to a side branch? Wounds are wounds, right? Aren’t all wounds the same?
How did trees ever survive/evolve for millions of years without “help” from humans and their cutting tools (i.e., chainsaws)? How often do arborists “help” trees to death by making unnecessary wounds?
